Crashdance Sketches 3

Third and last set of sketches for my Crashdance fic. What happens when you chow down on two tons of metal for a light snack? You wind up like my fan character, Drew, who now dwarves XJ-8. It always bugs me in cartoons (or movies) when characters grow or shrink at will. It's called the Law of Conservation of Mass, people! If you gain two tons of weight, it's because you ate two tons of food! Okay, rant over.

Sheldon fails in his bid to win Jenny's heart, and all he's left with is the jabbering head of his robo-date.

And some pure, blatant fluffy goodness: Jenny and Brad enjoy the last dance together in the school gym. (Studio audience: AWWWWW.) You know, aside from the fluff, it's surprisingly difficult to draw a dancing couple. You have to make sure everyone lines up and nobody's shoulders or elbows are poking out at weird angles.

This is the first picture that I've inked freehand with my new Sakura Micro Pigma set of pens, and they totally ROCK! They feel as natural and flowing as a pencil, and they give a good black line, with a little bit of play in the nib to give you thickness control. Very nice.
