I was going to go nuts on the lighting and background for this picture, but got to a point where I'd put more hours into it than I realized. I am *not* a fast colorer. And then my short attention span kicked in. Just a silly piece to give me an excuse to draw a flying Delorean. Man, how many folks out there in their thirties grew up wishing they had a flying Delorean?

The background is great as is, it really puts the main focus on what you should be looking at, which is hilarious. Great job on the coloring..better than I could do in years.

Thanks. Part of the problem with color selection on this piece is that a DeLorean is all silvers and greys and blacks ... not a lot of color to make it jump out at you. I suppose I could have played up the highlights and the shimmer of the stainless steel - if I knew how to do that. Anyhow, I had to make sure and pick subdues colors for the background, which sort of washed out the whole piece.

Doc can keep his train. I *SO* wanted a flying DeLorean with a Mr. Fusion attachment. You know, they went forward in the second movie to October 21st, 2015. So that means flying cars are just nine years, seven years, and five days away ... right?
